I've spent most of my adult life working with older adults. My area of expertise is in the care of and programming for people suffering from various forms of progressive dementia. There are just under 40 million people in the world living with dementia and that number is growing exponentially. The music on this ep is inspired by and dedicated to everyone affected by the disease processes that encompass dementia. The sounds here are of a dark nature, but please realize that while dementia is more often than not a death sentence, there is more to it than mere despair. Indeed, there are moments of joy, love, and laughter. There are beautiful breakthroughs and ways to engage people at each stage. I experience these things each and every day in my work. ALL PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION.
